Lightemotion Unveils the Secrets of the Auckland Museum

After Singapore, it’s now New Zealand’s turn to enlist the services of François Roupinian and his team. Lightemotion has created the lighting design for the Secrets Revealed exhibitionthat opened on the 12th of Julyat the Auckland Museum. The secrets referred to in the title are in fact the objects and collections bequeathed to museums that so often end up in the reserves, unseen. The exhibit documents the course of these forgotten objects in an unexpected display.

Lightemotion, the Montreal firm already recognized for its creativity and expertise in the realm of exhibition lighting, has put its signature to the lighting design for the Passagers/ Passengers exhibition, presented from June 3 to October 19, 2008, as part of the festivities being held for the 400th birthday celebration of Quebec City. The exhibition, created by GSM Design in collaboration with Patrice Sauvé, evokes all the generations of people who have passed through the city of Quebec, long considered the hub of immigration into Canada.

Montreal company Lightemotion, a lighting design specialist, has created the lighting for Greek Masterpieces from the Louvre, an exhibition on from December 9, 2007, to March 16, 2008, at the National Museum of Singapore. Presented for the first time in Southeast Asia, the show includes 130 exquisite pieces from Ancient Greece, loaned for the occasion by the Louvre Museum.
